NorthJersey.com is reporting that Jim Harbaugh will deliver the commencement speech at Paramus Catholic High School on June 9th.
“Commencement is an academic ceremony. It’s not connected to athletics,” Jim Vail, Paramus Catholic’s school president said. “But I have gotten to know Coach Harbaugh pretty well. I’m not a football guy, but I know a great educator when I see one, and he always impressed me as a great educator and great leader.
“He’s a very dynamic individual. He does many things that would make him a great role model for our students.”
Michigan signed Paramus product Rashan Gary, the No. 1 recruit in 2016, and are after two 2017 Paladins recruits – Drew Singleton and Corey Bolds.
A friendship was built between Paramus Catholic's president and Harbaugh back in the fall, which is when commencement was 1st brought up

Seems as though some are saying the commencement is a reaction to the new NCAA rule and that is not the case.
