Outside of Amara Darboh, Michigan is looking for wide receivers to step up this upcoming year (Jehu Chesson, Drake Harris, Freddy Canteen, Moe Ways, etc.). Brian Cole and Grant Perry, two first-year wide receivers, are getting early looks from the Michigan coaching staff and could be in the two deep according to Scout.com’s Bill Greene.

Green writes that Cole, a former top 100 recruit, is challenging the other upperclassmen wide receivers for playing time. Meanwhile, Perry, a three-star recruit, is out-performing his star rating and is making a case to be on the field at the slot position.
