Five-star RB Kareem Walker announced Thursday at his high school that he plans on playing his college football in Ann Arbor for Michigan. Walker, a one-time Ohio State commit, is the first of potentially several five-star prospects in the 2016 class that end up picking Michigan. Walker will enroll early at Michigan.
With the top RB Kareem Walker added to the class, Michigan now has the No. 1 recruiting class in the country, according Scout.

Michigan beat out Florida State, Alabama, Auburn for the No. 27 player in the country. Walker is the Wolverines’ 23rd commitment for its 2016 class, which now ranks No. 1 in the Scout.com class rankings.
