While set to do a one-year missions after graduating high school next season, Ryder Lyons, a top 10 recruit in the 2026 class, is one of the most sought after players in the class. Lyons, a California product, who is also considering Oregon, BYU and others, is priority No. 1 for Michigan:

Standing at 6-foot-2.5 and weighing 215 pounds, Lyons threw for 6,500 yards and 84 touchdowns over the past two years, while also rushing for 1,500 yards and 38 touchdowns.
Michigan obviously has Bryce Underwood incoming but Lyons, in as a 2027 recruit, would be a pretty nice ‘Next up’ QB.
