Michigan In Contact With A Recent Top Ohio State Decommit

Zahir Mathis, a four-star top 100 DE out of Philly, re-opened his recruitment from Ohio State earlier this week. Mahis, who stands a 6-foot-6 and 225-pound, has apparently been hearing from a bunch of programs including Michigan, 247sports Brian Dohn reports:

In addition to Penn State, Miami, Michigan, Florida State, USC, Oregon and Georgia each reached out to learn more about Mathis and his situation, a source told 247Sports.

I’s he belief tha Penn State is the current front-runner to land the No. 76 recruit in the composite.
