A five-star cornerback and current Florida State pledge, Samuels is ranked as the No. 19 prospect in the 2017 class. Having been a former teammate of Devin Bush, Devin Gil and Josh Metellus at Flanagan High School, should help Michigan’s chances. However, FSU, with his father being a former star player there and the home-state school, will be very hard to overcome.
