Rivals.com’s Brandon Brown released an article highlighting Michigan’s chances with its top remaining TE targets. While Brown believes Luke Ford is Alabama bound, the UM insider thinks Missouri City, Texas’ Mustapha Muhammad will be a Wolverine. Here’s what Brown wrote about the No. 5 TE in 2018:
The Latest: Muhammad just released a top five consisting of Clemson, LSU, Michigan, Texas and UCLA. The four star has virtually admitted that Michigan is his leader and that he intends to commit to the Wolverines closer to National Signing Day. However, the longer impending commitments drag out, the more likely they are to change. As of right now, Michigan is still the safest bet for Muhammad but the other four schools in his top group aren’t going to let him make up his mind without something to think about.
The Wolverines already have Gemon and German Green into the fold from the Longhorn state.
