Update: Scout.com’s Sam Webb also caught up with the father of Iman Marshall, who had some very positive things to say about Harbaugh and DB coach Greg Jackson.
“They are very impressive, all of them,” he continued. “Mr. (Greg) Jackson (and) especially Harbaugh. You can see the fire, the intensity in his eyes. That’s the thing I noticed about all the coaches. They are very, very intense, very articulate. Able to sit there and have you believe and (wanting to share in) their vision. That’s the thing… you can have vision about something, but the hard thing is conveying that vision to somebody else and somebody to believe in your vision also. I think they came away from that meeting letting me see that aspect. They are some very good guys.”

247Sports’ Steve Lorenz caught up with the father of five-star CB Iman Marshall following his in-home visit this evening with Michigan. Some very positive things were said about Coach Harbaugh and the other Michigan coaches who joined him in California (Jedd Fisch, John Baxter and Greg Jackson) by Marshall’s father. Via 247Sports ($):
“The visit with Michigan went great,” the elder Marshall said. “It was very informative and enlightening. I do feel comfortable with them as a staff now. You can tell they’re first class coaches, but more importantly they’re first class men and fathers. I would have no issues sending my son to Michigan and attending that program because I know they have his best interest both on and off the field.”
Its been long forecasted that Marshall will attend USC- his favorite school growing. From the quotes above, however, Michigan certainly seems to have a chance with the 4th best player in the country. Marshall will announce his decision on National Signing Day (February 4th).
