Harbaugh Updates Kareem Walker’s Status, Says If He’ll Redshirt

Jim Harbaugh talked about freshman tailback Kareem Walker, who has yet to see the field this year due to issues in the classroom, during Monday’s presser.

Kareem Walker, former No. 1 RB recruit being held out for academics right now, will probably redshirt, Harbaugh says, but "he's doing well."

To be clear, Harbaugh was very excited about Walker's process. The "doing well" part was the main focus of his comment not window dressing.

Walker, a one-time Ohio State pledge, was ranked as ESPN’s No. 45 recruit in 2016.
