Isaac Nauta, who was ranked as the No. 1 TE recruit in the 2017 class, spurned Michigan for Georgia at the US Army All-American Game. Devin Asiasi, who was ranked as the No. 4 TE in the class, wound up picking the Wolverines on National Signing Day. According to Jay Harbaugh, the Wolverines got the better TE:
