Former Ohio State WR coach Zach Smith, who is in the middle of the fiasco unfolding in Columbus, said OSU AD Gene Smith knew about the domestic abuse allegations in 2015 and pulled him away from a recruiting trip:

I don't think it's a coincidence that Meyer published his statement, saying he went through proper channels when he learned of the incident, just before Zach Smith went on the radio and said Gene Smith told him of the 2015 allegations. Putting this on Gene.
