Father Of Michigan DC Joins Michigan’s Coaching Staff

While Michigan hired Jesse Minter to be their next defensive coordinator, Rick Minter, the father of Jesse, will also be joining the staff:

Michigan football has hired Rick Minter — father of U-M defensive coordinator Jesse Minter — as an analyst.

Rick Minter has been in coaching since 1977 and made numerous stops, including as the head coach at Cincinnati from 1994-2003.

Minter also spent time as Notre Dame’s defensive coordinator and should bring a wealth of knowledge.
