Amari Burney, a four-star WR out of Clearwater, Florida, was offered by Michigan back in May. Burney, ranked as the No. 16 WR in the 2018 class, was in attendance for the Wolverines’ satellite camp in Tampa, Florida.
“It was an awesome experience meeting the staff especially getting a chance to take a look at Coach Harbaugh in action,” Burney told Diehard Sport. “I love how he [Harbaugh] interacted with the kids and how he just seems really genuine and a down-home type of person.”
Burney also told Diehard Sport that he’s a big fan of Michigan holding satellite camps because it gives those less-heralded recruits a chance to showcase their talents.
“A lot of kids can’t afford to travel so it give them the opportunity to show their skills in front of coaches that they would otherwise never get to show them in front of.”
The 6-foot-2, 205-pounder says he will definitely get to Ann Arbor for a visit and that he has no leader but Michigan “certainly has my attention.”
