Michigan linebacker Devin Bush Jr. laid out Michigan State’s Chris Frey with a vicious block during a Jabrill Peppers punt return on Saturday. While announcers thought the hit could have been targeting, Big Ten officials never went in to review the play. According to @isportsdave, a B1G spokesperson agreed with the non-call:

Frey returned to the ballgame even though he was down for several seconds after the hit.

Dantonio wasn’t aware of Frey’s hit and also had a conversation with the Big Ten about it:
Dantonio says that he wasn't aware that Frey took a hit. He found out during halftime of Saturday's game.

Dantonio said he discussed hit on Chris Frey with Big Ten. Wouldn't divulge the nature of that discussion

Frey, who did some trash talking over the summer, tweeted the following after the game:
What doesn't kill you makes you stronger☠️ I'm still standing. I'm going no where.
