Alabama DT & Former Five-Star Out Of Michigan’s Backyard Enters Transfer Portal

A former five-star DT out of Belleville, Michigan, Damon Payne, has entered his name into the transfer portal:

Payne, who recorded 14 tackles this season for the Crimson Tide, could be one to watch for the Maize and Blue who are looking to add DL depth with Mason Graham (off to the NFL) and likely Kenneth Grant as well.

Payne was a member of the 2021 class and was ranked as the No. 2 in-state player behind Donovan Edwards.
