Prior to their game against the Florida Gators, the Florida Gulf Coast Eagles were very loose and relaxed. They exchanged high-fives with Michigan after Michigan’s thrilling comeback overtime victory over Kansas, and FGCU guard Sherwood Brown posed for pictures with the Gators cheerleaders. It’s too bad that “Dunk City” finally ran out of gas and lost to Florida 62-50, but the Eagles seemed to do the prudent thing and just enjoyed their time in the tournament. Their school spent a great deal of time in the spotlight and the exposure is going to do wonders for their program and their University.
