OSU Loses 2018 Recruit After Thad Matta’s Departure

Fresh off the Thad Matta news, Ohio State lost one of two 2018 commits as three-star guard Justin Ahrens re-opened his recruitment on Tuesday:

It’s unclear who the favorite is to land the OSU job,  but a major reason for Matta’s departure was due to his recent recruiting. Ahrens is ranked as the No. 159 recruit in 2018.
