Following the remarkable finish to between Kentucky and Notre Dame last Saturday, John Calipari received a lot of heat for saying it wasn’t the Wildcats’ toughest game of the season. Calipari addressed the situation on Monday during a Final Four telecast saying that he could have lied about the Elite 8 game with Notre Dame being the toughest but that would be disregarding the OT Texas A&M and Ole Miss games in the regular season.
Calipari said he “could have lied” and said Notre Dame was toughest test, but points out UK was lucky to get to OT vs. Ole Miss and A&M.
