A native of Fort Wayne, Indiana, Jackson transferred from the University of Illinois Chicago (UIC) to Purdue Fort Wayne prior to the 2023–24 season. Prior to this season, Jackson made an immediate impact, averaging 16.0 points and 4.5 rebounds per game. He shot 50.9% from the field, including 41.2% from three-point range. His performance earned him a spot on the All-Horizon League Third Team. In the 2024–25 season, Jackson continued his strong play, earning a spot on the Preseason All-Horizon League First Team. He recorded a career-high 38 points in a game against IU Indianapolis on January 25, 2025, tying for the third-highest single-game point total in program history.
