A native of Fort Wayne, Indiana, Jackson transferred from the University of Illinois Chicago (UIC) to Purdue Fort Wayne prior to the 2023–24 season. His performance earned him a spot on the All-Horizon League Third Team. In the 2024–25 season, Jackson continued his strong play, earning a spot on the Preseason All-Horizon League First Team. He recorded a career-high 38 points in a game against IU Indianapolis on January 25, 2025, tying for the third-highest single-game point total in program history.
