This basketball court design is setting a high bar.
On Monday, George Washington University unveiled the draft of their new Charles E. Smith Center basketball/volleyball court, which includes the silhouettes of three famous Washington, D.C. buildings- the Capital, the White House and the Washington Monument, designed on the wooden floor.
“When people around the world are watching our games, we want them to immediately recognize and understand the university’s unique setting in the middle of the action in this world-class city,” said Patrick Nero, GW’s Athletic Director.
A very cool designed court, and hopefully it benefits a program that hasn’t made the NCAA Tournament since the 2007 season.
