Michigan picked up its point guard of the future in four-star Xavier Simpson on Wednesday. Simpson, ranked as the No. 69 player in the composite rankings, picked the Wolverines over Illinois, Wisconsin, Miami and Iowa State.

It now makes sense why earlier this morning four-star PG Cassius Winston, who appeared to be Michigan’s top PG target, didn’t include the Wolverines in his final three schools. Simpson, now the Wolverines fourth 2016 commit, apparently took a visit to Ann Arbor this past weekend.
