Boxer Floyd Mayweather was recently named the highest paid athlete by Forbes and it’s no question why. Getting paid $105 million for 72 minutes in the ring the last 12 months is absolutely absurd. Cristiano Ronaldo finished second with $80 million, followed by LeBron James at $72.3 million, Lionel Messi at $64.7 million and Kobe Bryant finishes off the Top 5 at $61.5 million. If it weren’t for Tiger Woods and EA Sports ending their partnership, I’m guessing he would have made it into the Top 5.
