Boston College was ranked as the No. 1 defense in the country last year under Brown. Brown ran an ‘aggressive 4-3’ defense last year with the Eagles. The 60-year-old has been nominated for the ‘best defensive coordinator award’ the last three season while at BC and was awarded the ‘assistant of the year’ in 2015.
Before joining Boston College in 2013 as the DC and linebackers coach, previous Brown jobs included UConn’s DC, Maryland’s DC and the head coach of UMass and Northeastern. Brown also coached Yale’s baseball team in 1992.
