This is the EXACT reason why you cannot build a basketball arena and try to turn it into a hockey arena. If you want a dual-purpose arena it must be a hockey arena first that you put a basketball court on top of. This conversion of the Barclay’s Center is a total disaster and there is a ZERO percent chance that the New York Islanders stay there long term. Who would pay for this seat?
There aren’t even seats behind the goal in that end zone and the scoreboard is over one of the blue lines. This is going to be a disaster.
