The NHL free agency has kicked off with a wild start, including a second major trade in two days. On Thursday, the Dallas Stars traded Loui Eriksson for Tyler Seguin and on Friday the Ottawa Senators traded for Bobby Ryan. Just three hours after losing their captain Daniel Alfredsson to the Detroit Red Wings, the Senators replaced the face of their franchise with a new high profile right winger. The Senators traded Jakob Silfverberg, Stefan Noesen and a 1st round pick to the Anaheim Ducks. The Ducks were looking to offload Ryan for some time now, in order to free up some cap room after giving Corey Perry and Ryan Getzlaf mega-deals last year.
Bobby seemed pretty excited to be headed to Ottawa:

Ottawa definitely wins this trade in my mind.
Since 2008, Bobby Ryan has scored more goals than the following players: Crosby, Heatley, Malkin, Hossa, Kane, Eriksson & Hossa.
