Luke Donald stands with one foot in the water to hit shot

After chunking his approach shot on the 4th hole, Luke Donald had an awkward lie.  The ball was just on a small lip of grass and he chose to take one shoe off to stand in the water.  It was a terribly hard shot to hit, with one foot in the water with no shoe, while the other foot was on land. Understandably, Donald chunked the shot and it landed in the bunker right in front of the green.
