Cam Ward makes an unbelievable glove save on Joel Ward
Published
On Tuesday night the Carolina Hurricanes came to town to take on the Washington Capitals. With the Capitals up 2-0 and a threat of the game getting out of hand, Hurricanes goalie Cam Ward came up with a huge stop that deserves to be considered a candidate for save of the year. Joel Ward had 3/4 of the net empty after Cam kicked out this rebound, and Cam magically got a piece of it. It barely hit the bottom of his glove and still almost went in, trickling along the goal line before being cleared away. This is a truly impressive display of timing, skill and of course, luck.
