Well file this under something you don’t see every day. Florida Panthers defenseman Erik Gudbranson went back to play the puck, and as he got ready to absorb the hit from Toronto Maple Leafs forward Jay McClement the glass gave way and his glove got caught. The glass didn’t break on the play, but the force was enough to pop the pane of glass out of the stanchion. The referees were smart to blow the play dead right away and Gudbranson should be happy that he didn’t get hurt. The glass popping out could have been very dangerous for him, and for the fan sitting in the front row.
