Video games are never perfect when they first come out, but it appears that the NHL 13 crew over at EA Sports made a pretty glaring mistake here. The first video with the Kings/Oilers is probably more of a random incident, but the second video shows something that will happen literally every time if it is time correctly. It’s obviously funny to watch an opponent get shot into the stands, but it has to be annoying to deal with on a regular basis.
The occasional glitch is to be expected, but a flaw in the game that will happen every time you check someone while your team is changing is terrible. I would expect EA Sports to release a patch soon, along with some updated rosters to accommodate the last free agent signings that happened in August.
