John U. Bacon, who has become an insider for the Jim Harbaugh coaching situation, gave an update on what could happen with assistants if Harbaugh returns with an extension. According to Bacon on the radio today, only two assistants would likely return of the bunch.
Bacon added that OL coach Ed Warinner and TE coach Sharone Moore would be the coaches returning to the Wolverines.
That would leave a lot of openings on Michigan’s staff including possibly RB coach Jay Harbaugh, DC Don Brown, DB Mike Zordich, QB Ben McDaniels and others.
We’ll have to see how it plays out.
