While Michigan pulled out a 25-point win over Maryland last weekend, Jim Harbaugh was still not too pleased about the officiating. The Michigan headman on several blown pass-interference calls (via 247sports):
“There was one of those,” Harbaugh said , regarding pass interference on Peoples-Jones on Saturday. “There was another one where the DB had his hand on the back of his jersey, horse-collared him, and wasn’t able to go catch the ball to go make the play. I don’t know what to tell him at that point. The officials have to step in at that point and they have to see that they have to make the call. He was interfered on another play and there was a call made.Yeah, I don’t know what to tell him. ‘Lift more weights so they don’t grab you, horse-collar you from making a catch?’ The facts are that’s a penalty. It needs to be penalized.”
