Hunter Mahan drops an F-bomb after hitting Driver on a Par 3

The Par 3 3rd hole at Merion played very long on Sunday, 266 yards to be exact.  That’s why Hunter Mahan pulled out a driver on this beast and it didn’t go so well.  After he teed off, you could hear him say, “I just hit a fu**ing driver on a par 4.”  Mahan was clearly so flustered that he had to hit driver on a par 3, and it hit poorly, that he thought it was a par 4.  Mahan ended up parring the hole, but his round didn’t go so great.  He shot a Final Round 5-over to finish tied for 4th.
