The Ole Miss Rebels currently have the 11th ranked class according to Rivals and have gotten three 4-star commitments and one 5-star commitment in the last month. They are also poised to add the #1 overall player in the country, 5-star defensive end Robert Nkemdiche and could also add Laremy Tunsil, a 5-star offensive tackle.
With the class that head coach Hugh Freeze is bringing in to Ole Miss after a 7-6 record last year, people are wondering aloud whether or not something fishy is going on down in Oxford. Freeze did a great job of calling the accusers out on it on Twitter.

What really set off the rumors was when Laquon Treadwell, the #1 receiver in the country, tweeted a picture of himself with stacks of cash shortly after a visit to Ole Miss (on right). The picture has since been deleted, but it raised some questions.
Personally, I think that it is amazing that they’ve gotten this many good recruits lately, but you have to treat Ole Miss as innocent until proven guilty. Hugh Freeze just finished his first year at Ole Miss and could have made some very good recruiting pitches, such as promising them a lot of playing time right away. This would make a lot of good players who want to go pro as soon as possible very interested. It’s no surprise that Freeze would take exception to the accusations that don’t have any firm proof.
