Update: ESPN has issued an apology for Mussburger’s comments
Katherine Webb stole the spot light of a rather boring National Championship game. Currently dating ‘Bama quarterback A.J. McCarron, the Auburn graduate and 2012 Miss Alabama winner, drew major praise from announcer Brent Musburger.
Here’s the transcript during the game from Musburger:
“Wow you quarterbacks get all the good looking women, what a beautiful woman,” said Musberger. “If you’re a youngster in Alabama, start getting the football out and throw it around the backyard with pops.”
